Thank you to everyone who came out last weekend to our Day of Music at Greenberry's! All of the musical acts were excellent and we had a packed house all day long. It was a hit! The fundraising went over so well that day that we are continuing to have the Luminary Bag and Scratch 'N' Give fundraising options.
The Luminaria Ceremony during relay for life is a very special and heartwarming one. When the sun goes down, hundred of luminaria (votive candles placed in decorated white paper bags) light the track in remembrance of those who have faced cancer. For many, a Relay For Life event is the one place and time they can join together and find healing from their cancer experience, honor those who have survived, and remember those they have lost. For a donation, you can decorate one of these glowing tributes for friends or loved ones who have faced cancer.
The Scratch 'N' Give is fun way to donate just because. Simply scratch out one or more spots and donate that amount! The more you scratch the more you give while helping the American Cancer Society save more lives. When the card is clean we will be $100 closer to a cure! Each spot's value is $1, $5, or $10.
